Summer 2024 Wrap-Up

Hello lovelies,
The release of The Gravity of Us was super amazing. I hope everyone who read TGOU loved it. I might be able to participate in a signing event at a local Barnes & Noble (would be absolutely amazing if I can), but this stuff takes time to set up, so I'm not sure when or if it will actually happen yet. Of course, I'll announce it if/when it happens.
As we near the end of one heck of a sweltering summer, I thought it a great time to provide some updates.
LOAD is undergoing editing, and I still plan to release it by the end of 2024 or Q1 2025. (pending editing, formatting, and copyright processing)
The Solace rewrite is going well. I'm crossing my fingers that this momentum continues.
Now for the big news.
If you've been following my website this year (2024), you may have seen me create a WIP page that is now missing. Well, I removed it for a reason.
Back in August, I soft-launched my Patreon. You may immediately cringe at that. I get it. This isn't me asking for money or anything, but the three tiers I offer are paid tiers. Why, you may ask? I had some stories and bonus content I wanted to provide fans. The content I'm offering: extras, bonuses, serial shorts, shorts, and full-length exclusive stories. I often have a million ideas bouncing around in my head while trying to write one or two novels at a time, so this Patreon is a great way for me to channel those distractions into something you can enjoy while waiting for the next book release.
I personally think I structured the tiers fairly for the price. Along with the content, I'm posting monthly work-in-progress updates. And of course, all members will be able to join my discord server. If this interests you, it costs nothing to check it out. There are already deleted scenes from The Gravity of Us posted. One of them I've deemed "microsmut" which is a term coined by a good friend of mine. So, check it out. Maybe pay for a month and read through everything I have to offer and cancel your sub. It's up to you, but it's there if you want it.
And for the reason I removed the WIP page from my website? Well, I'm creating a Trello board for my Patreon members where they will view and track my WIP in real time. Anything on the backlog that isn't started yet may end up in a voting poll where Patreon members can vote on what I write next. Also, any story prompts from my Patreons will be added to the Trello board and tracked. I want my Patreon community to be interactive.
I hope you join my Patreon, and if not, please look forward to the upcoming release of LOAD.
Always,
Jamie Avery King
